With electronics growing smaller and ever more mobile, the question of power and batteries is crucial. Specifying versatile standard enclosures capable of handling different types of cells enables you to order in greater quantities and so cut costs.

That’s why OKW Enclosures offers a wide choice of options. We have 17 plastic enclosure ranges capable of handling batteries – whether you need to fit N, AAA, AA, 9V or C, CR1216 or CR1220 cells.

DATEC-POCKET-BOX is probably our most versatile range in terms of battery capacity. It can take four types of cells: N (x2) AAA (x2), AA (x2) or 9V (x1). These handheld electronics enclosures are available in three sizes (S, M and L), ABS or PMMA (infra-red) and either IP 41 or IP 54 protection ratings.

Other OKW ranges which offer you a great choice of batteries include SMART-CASE IP 40, IP 41 and IP 65 housings (AAA x2, AA x2 or 9V x1 cells) and IP 54-rated SOFT-CASE (AAA x2, AA x2, AA x4 or 9V x1 cells).

At OKW we also offer a wide range of battery cradles for IP-rated hand held housings:

  • 2 x 1.5V AAA
  • 2 x 1.5V AA or 1 x 9V
  • 3 x 1.5V AA
  • 4 x 1.5V AA
  • 1 x 9V.

There are also five types of battery contacts available: Micro-Contacts (2 x 1.5V AAA), Mini-Contacts (2 x 1.5V N, 2 x 1.5V AAA and 2 x 1.5 AA), Spring-Contacts (2 x 1.5V AA, 1 x 9V), Large Contacts (2 x 1.5V AA, 4 x 1.5 AA and 1 x 9V) and a 9V Contact (1 x 9V).
